The newest wellness paradise of Budapest has been opened
WELLNESS PARADISE IN THE NORTHERN PART OF BUDAPEST
The foundation stone of the bath was placed in January, 2017. Following that, the archaeologists of the National Museum of Budapest and the Budapest History Museum found a unique Roman wagon tomb at the area of the bath. The local Celtic origin elite according to their funeral customs placed a complete travelling wagon in the tomb. Based on the quality and number of decoration elements, the wagon tomb is considered as the most sensational finding from the area of the Aquincum.
In the bath, every age group can find the perfect activity. The sport-loving ones and the swimming course applicants find a 25x33 meter long, two-way corded, race pool and a 10x12 meter long training pool. The race pool is suitable for swimming competitions and water polo matches, as well. On this floor you can also find a Finnish and an infra sauna.
In the wellness department, three activity pools are located with different temperature. In the children’s paradise, a water playground with special twister and an entertainment corner makes the family friendly services full. In the sauna world an aroma sauna, a hellish sauna, a steam chamber, a large panorama sauna, a salt bath, a bio sauna, a hot water immersion pool, a cold water immersion pool and a 36-degree-temperature pool is placed. At the panorama terrace we can admire the amazing view from a unique, floating, 36-degree temperature, stainless steel pool. The bath has got two giant pools, as well.
The bath is proudly presenting the beautiful mosaic made by Jenő Barcsay that was brought from the demolished Újpest Bath.
